Mary LamonsMary Lamons is a senior undergraduate student studying Psychology in the department of Cognitive Sciences. Mary is interested in adolescence, and differentiating protective factors that influence resilience to adversity, versus ones that are associated with increased risk of criminal behavior and poor mental health. Mary will be pursuing a PhD in Psychology, with the intention of having a career within research and academia. In addition, Mary would like to use research to create community intervention programs, which will facilitate healthy development in at-risk neighborhoods and prevent crime, gang-involvement, and substance use among adolescents.

Anshuman ChiplunkarAnshuman Chiplunkar is currently a 4th year undergraduate student majoring in Psychological Sciences. After graduation, he hopes to pursue a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology with a focus on juvenile justice.

Colleen BrownColleen Brown is a post-baccalaureate student and the 3D lab manager. After graduating with a B.A. in German Studies from Cal State Long Beach in 2014, she shifted her goals toward a career in psychological research. She plans to pursue a Ph.D. in developmental psychology with a focus on risk-taking and violent behavior among adolescents.

Amanda SadriAmanda Sadri earned her B.A. in Psychology at the University of California Riverside in 2014. After graduation, she worked in San Diego on a clinical psychiatric team servicing individuals and families with severe, persistent mental illness under the newly implemented Laura’s Law. Currently, Amanda is interested in developmental psychopathology, risks for delinquency and assessment and intervention strategies.
